The company is Spain's largest corrugated steel manufacturer. It operates steel plants in Spain and diversifies in cement production and oil refining. It was incorporated in 1997 under the laws of Spain. The company's factories are located in Extremadura, Madrid, Asturias and País Vasco. The company also has a cement factory in Alconera (Badajoz). Its registered office address is in Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz). The company manufactures the following products: hot rolled round steel, screw-thread steel, tubes, hot rolled sheets and coils, continuous casting and rolled slabs, straight seam welded pipes, cold rolled sheets and coils, galvanized cold rolled sheets and coils, general purpose heavy plate, shipbuilding plate, cast pig iron, and cylinders for compressed gases. Among the company's subsidiaries include AG Siderurgica Balboa SA and Alfonso Gallardo SA, both are active in the manufacture of basic iron and steel and of ferro-alloys. The company is also active in Germany through Stahlwerk Thuringen GmbH.
